NUR 410 Interdisciplinary Leadership and Management
Explores leadership and management concepts, principles, and theories associated with healthcare policy, advocacy, and regulation to advance leadership development. Building upon previous coursework focused on maintaining a culture of quality and safety, this course also emphasizes the related leadership and management contributions to quality and safety in healthcare environments. Learners explore formal and informal leadership roles and responsibilities at various levels within the healthcare system. Effective inter/intra-professional communication, collaboration, and application of professional values are emphasized.
