BUS 102 Financial Acumen

This course is intended to provide non-financial managers with an introduction to and comprehensive overview of financial management. Specifically, the course covers the topics of both financial and managerial accounting. The course will focus on the three primary financial statements that are at the heart of the periodic financial reporting structure: the Income Statement, the Balance Sheet, and the Statement of Cash Flows. The course includes a comprehensive Business Case Project that asks participants to examine a business decision using the tools covered in both portions of the course.

This is a 1.5 credit hour elective pass/not pass course. There is a required live component.
