NUR 120 Fundamentals of Nursing
This course provides a foundational understanding of nursing principles and skills essential for entry-level practical nursing practice. Students will develop the knowledge and abilities to contribute effectively to the healthcare team, address diverse patient needs, and foster lifelong professional growth. Course content encompasses the nursing process, patient-centered care, safety, infection prevention, communication, and cultural competency. Students will explore topics such as medical terminology, medication administration, patient education, and critical thinking skills.
