Master of Science in Health Services Administration

The Master of Science in Health Services Administration provides students with the advanced health care administration competencies needed to excel in careers as health care administrators and in other careers related to the business of health care. The program provides students the depth of knowledge required of today's health care professionals coupled with the managerial perspective essential to success. The learning environment enables application of health care administration theory and practice, and a focus on selected concentrations of health care administration. The program is designed to provide students with both current and relevant practices in the industry.  

Completion of Strayer University’s Master of Science in Health Services Administration program does not guarantee a student has met the requirements to apply for licensure as a health care administrator in any state. Students pursuing professional health care certifications should contact their respective state health departments to confirm educational requirements before beginning the program.

Students who have not earned degrees from appropriate fields of study may be required to take additional coursework as a prerequisite for completing the program.

This program is not available at the Mississippi or New Jersey campuses. This program is available in an online-only format to Mississippi or New Jersey students. Students enrolled through a Maryland ground-based campus should refer to the Maryland-specific portion of the catalog.
