NUR 500 Foundations of Success for Graduate Studies in Nursing (1.5 quarter credit hours)
Introduces students to Strayer University and to the requirements for successful engagement in an online nursing graduate program. Provides a foundation for the student’s academic and professional success and includes topics related to information literacy, effective technology use, and graduate-level scholarly writing. Course assignments focus on self-development and on the practical application of writing and critical reasoning skills, and the integration of professional nursing practice with masters level academic success in nursing. Students explore frameworks and professional standards and guidelines, including the AACN Masters Essentials, as applied to their program of study.
