Emphasizes leadership within a healthcare setting, highlighting differences from management. Explores various leadership topics, including communication, power, authority, influence, authenticity, strategic planning, collaboration, change management, emotional intelligence, conflict management, interpersonal skills, team building, motivating others, and succession planning. Practical strategies, including time management, effective use of technology, and self-care of the leader are discussed. Various leadership case studies are employed to offer practical learning applications. Learners will have the opportunity to apply this knowledge in a practice setting.
